Laura Weiss, CPCC, ACC is a leadership coach, mediator, facilitator, and strategist. She specializes in working with design leaders, teams, and organizations that are navigating a transition in pursuit of their own specific innovation and growth objectives.
A former licensed architect, Laura spent a decade with the global design firm IDEO as a Practice Director and Associate Partner. She subsequently assumed leadership roles inside a variety of service enterprises in both the private and social sectors.
In addition to her independent practice she is a Senior Innovation Adviser at award-winning consulting firm Slalom where she leads talent strategy initiatives and facilitates high-stakes executive engagements. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco where she is an instructor in the M.Des. graduate program.
Laura holds a B.Arch. with honors from Cornell University, an M.Arch. from Yale University, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. A lifelong learner, Laura has also earned a Professional Certificate in Mediation and Applied Conflict Studies from Champlain College in Burlington, VT, her CPCC (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach) credential through CTI and is an ACC (Associate Certified Coach) with The International Coach Federation.
Laura is based in Northern California
but works in multiple time zones.
